A little about me.

I’m Julia, owner and lead planner of Julia LaCroix Styled Events.

With a degree in Meeting and Event Management and 16 years of experience, I specialize in full-service wedding planning and design throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul, and beyond.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year, allowing me to be deeply involved in every detail of the planning and design process. My approach is thoughtful, highly organized, and intentionally personal. I believe an extraordinary celebration should not only be beautiful, but feel effortless, cohesive, and distinctly reflective of the people at the center of it.

I love the creative side of wedding planning just as much as the logistics behind it. Thoughtful layouts, layered details, beautiful materials, and unexpected personal touches are what bring a design to life. But behind every beautiful celebration is an equally important foundation of preparation, precision, and execution.

And that’s where I thrive.

Outside of wedding planning, I’m a competitive bikini bodybuilder. While designing weddings and preparing for the competition stage may seem like two entirely different worlds, they require many of the same qualities.

They’re also the principles I bring to every client experience.

Beyond the details.

I was born in Minsk, Belarus, and moved to Minnesota with my family in 1989, without knowing a word of English.

Today, Minneapolis is my home, where I’m a mom to my daughter, Giovanna, and son, Asher. I’m a competitive bodybuilder and someone who loves creating beautiful things.

When I’m not planning weddings or training, you’ll probably find me working on a home design project, tackling something DIY, or finding another way to make a space feel more intentional.

I appreciate beautiful interiors, clean lines, thoughtful details, and a well-executed plan. Whether it’s a wedding, a room in my home, or a personal goal, I have a hard time doing anything halfway.
